Q1: Can you please introduce yourself and tell us about Clout.art?
Jure: Sure thing! My name is Jure, and I’m the founder of Clout art. I’ve been in the NFT space since 2018, launching the first protocol for NFTs and the first dev framework for ERC-721 with the previous company — we actually helped finalize the standard.
Fast forward 3 years, NFTs have taken off and I saw a great opportunity in getting the right content on social media monetized. The idea was simple: take the content that already exists and find a way to monetize it with the help of NFTs.
Q2: Great, thanks for the introduction. Now can you tell us what SWAY is and how does it work with Clout.art? We are having some technical issues, Jure could you please type the answer again please?
Jure: SWAY is the native token for Sway Social protocol. It is a creator-owned, decentralized social media protocol that uses NFTs to translate social capital into an asset class.
Clout art is actually the first inhouse platform to use SWAY and a case study to what we’re trying to build. But as part of the Clout art, SWAY will have functionalities related to Clout art’s creator pools.
In a nutshell:
- Content creators establish individual pools for their NFTs.
- Users stake SWAY tokens to the pools (content creators) they wish to support.
- Staked SWAY tokens share in the revenue generated from their specific pools.

Q3: Could you tell us What problem you are solving with Clout.art?
Jure: With Clout art, we’re taking the problem of content monetization. Being an influencer means that you’re probably trying all different things to get revenue in and why not sell some of your moments in the form of posts? It takes you less than 1 min to mint and NFT and it’s free!
Every day 160M+ new posts are created on social media BILLIONS if not QUADRILLIONS of posts from last year, year before that… just sit there, doing nothing. Despite that every post has a sentimental value to the creator and is valuable to the community. The community decides how valuable it is by giving it likes and comments. You can now sell it!
With Sway Social and $SWAY, we’re tackling a bit of a different problem. It’s how to expand the economic model of a single creator to his community. We believe in Web3 and DAOs and think that the future is in transferring value over protocols like these.
In other words — when you make money as a creator, why not have your followers make some as well? After all they have been the ones supporting you the most!
Q4: Very cool! Are any major artists and well known creators joining?
Jure: Yes! We’ve just had Sean Kingston (musician; Beautiful Girls, Eenie Meenie) sell an NFT on the platform. But more are coming and we also have some amazing deals in the pipeline… worth sticking around!
Q5: Great, so what’s in plan for you next?
Jure: A lot of things, but what we’re obsessed with is mainstream. We want to make this experience a mainstream thing, where users can do it all on mobile, don’t have to worry about Metamask and private keys, and can easily buy with their credit cards… but at the same time still have an NFT infrastructure in the back.
Also, we have a very important infrastructure update coming really soon… and we’ll make sure Gate users learn about it first.
