Midnight Network, a sidechain focused on the privacy of Cardano, has opened the "Claim" phase for the NIGHT token through the "Glacier Drop" event. The token will be distributed to eligible wallets across 8 blockchains (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, Solana, BNB Chain, Brave, XRP Ledger, Avalanche), based on a snapshot taken on June 11th. Users have 60 days to claim the token through the official portal.
After that, a 30-day "Scavenger Mine" event will allow newcomers to earn unclaimed tokens, and the "Lost-and-Found" program lasting 4 years will support late claims after the mainnet launches. The NIGHT token is not unlocked immediately but is released in 4 random batches over 360 days after the mainnet is operational.
Midnight uses zero-knowledge technology and selective disclosure to protect user data while aiming for fair distribution and fostering long-term community engagement.
