Electric Capital, Paradigm leading a $40 million investment in the Ethereum advocacy group Etherealize

Etherealize, an advocacy organization for Ethereum co-founded by former development team lead Danny Ryan and former Wall Street trader Vivek Raman, has successfully raised 40 million USD from Electric Capital and Paradigm. Prior to this, the team received funding from Vitalik Buterin and the Ethereum Foundation in 2024 to kickstart operations.

Etherealize was born in the trend of the Ethereum community professionalizing, aiming to promote blockchain as a "global payment layer." The Ethereum Foundation is also restructuring its personnel and development schedule. Danny Ryan emphasized that this funding round marks the "Institutional Merge," bringing institutional finance to a secure and modern blockchain infrastructure.

The organization focuses on building zero-knowledge security infrastructure, payment tools for the tokenization process, and applications that provide liquidity for the tokenized bond market. Since its launch in January, Etherealize has partnered with several major banks, asset management funds, and regulatory agencies in the U.S.
