U.S. court exempts FBI for mistakenly wiping 3,400 BTC hard drives, with the amount of Crypto Assets "permanently lost" approaching 3.7 million coins.
According to Mars Finance, Cointelegraph reported on the X platform that a U.S. court ruled that the FBI is not liable for the clearing of a hard drive containing 3,400 BTC, as the owner of the hard drive only admitted ownership later.
