[Ghana Central Bank: Plans to Complete Crypto Assets Regulatory Legislation by Year-End] Ghana Central Bank Governor Johnson Asiama stated that the country expects to pass the Crypto Assets and Virtual Assets Regulatory Bill by the end of December. The regulatory framework has been drafted, and the relevant bill is being submitted to parliament for review. Asiama pointed out during the International Monetary Fund meeting in Washington that Ghana must accelerate its pace in regulating and monitoring crypto transactions to ensure the safety and transparency of the financial system.
