Institution: The European Central Bank is expected to maintain interest rates unchanged for the remainder of this year and next year.

Jin10 data reported on October 29, Shaan Raithatha from Vanguard Europe stated in a report that the European Central Bank is expected to keep interest rates unchanged for the remainder of 2025 and in 2026. However, this senior economist indicated that the risks lean towards further easing. He noted that most European Central Bank policymakers reiterated that the European Central Bank is still in a “good position,” and the risks to the inflation outlook are “two-sided.” That said, further rate cuts may require a catalyst.
