The Golden Finance reported that ARPA Network, based on EigenLayer, plans to start rewarding re-stakers with its native token ARPA as early as September. Jason Zhao, the head of business development, said in an interview with Cointelegraph: 'If everything goes well, we will launch the ARPA rewards by the end of September, and if not, it will definitely be launched in October.'
ARPA CEO Felix Xu stated that in addition to native Token rewards, ARPA is also testing an "incentive program to provide additional EIGEN rewards to our stakeholders and operators." This will be the first time that the third-party active verification service (AVS) of EigenLayer pays fees to reholder to protect and verify its network. EigenLayer's internal AVS EigenDA has already paid fees to re-stakers in wETH.
