April 19 Night BTC/ETH Misen Strategy
News: The ceasefire agreement expires on April 22. The U.S. has sent representatives for renewed negotiations, but Iran has not yet confirmed. There will be news next Monday. The brief honeymoon period on Friday (Iran announced the full opening of the Strait of Hormuz) lasted only a few hours. Bitcoin and Ethereum surged during Friday night trading but quickly cooled down. Currently, news-driven sentiment is dominating the market, making trading difficult. However, technical analysis can still provide clues, so don’t get too distracted. Focus on the market behavior as the ceasefire agreement approaches expiration.
BTC: Today, the support within the 74,400-75,550 range has been confirmed. The price just reached the midpoint at 74,869, triggering a rebound. To the upside, there are multiple resistance levels: the first is 76,100, followed by the large range of 76,600-77,300, which has strong resistance. At this stage, don’t insist on chasing a one-sided trend; opportunities are unpredictable because news can shift daily. Swing trading can be rewarding, but switching between bullish and bearish views tests your cognition. If confident, trade more; if not, rest. If the upward correction cannot break through resistance, add to short positions, using the upper band as a defense. The target for bears is to break below 74,400 to open the space below at 73,550-73,000-72,300-71,400.
ETH: Today, ETH found support and rebounded at the 2300 level. The next downside targets are 2268 and 2233. During night trading, watch whether 2330-2380 can be recovered. I recommend shorting near 2380 with 2400 as a stop-loss. The second key level is 2400-2430, which was the first consolidation platform after Friday night’s surge. If broken, this platform holds many trapped positions. Short below it with 2460 as a stop-loss. Above that, there’s potential for a bullish reversal, so respect the strength of the rebound. Support zones below are 2197, 2215, 2233, and 2268. As long as there’s acceleration, just go long at the support level where the decline stops. Since acceleration is highly unpredictable, focus on the levels with high confidence.
