According to RBC, Russia's government legislative activities committee has approved a draft bill regulating cryptocurrency trading, which proposes to establish admission standards for digital assets listing on exchanges in the country. Under the bill, cryptocurrencies approved for trading must meet the following criteria: average market capitalization exceeding 5 trillion rubles (approximately $60 billion) over the past two years, average daily trading volume of at least 1 trillion rubles (approximately $12 billion), and a trading history of at least 5 years. Mainstream cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum are expected to meet the relevant standards.
