Deep Tide TechFlow News: On March 13, in response to community concerns about X platform arbitrarily banning large numbers of legitimate users, X product lead and Solana advisor Nikita Bier posted a response stating that the issue was primarily caused by errors in a newly launched spam filtering system, with approximately 99% of mistakenly banned accounts having been restored. Within approximately 12 hours, the new anti-spam filter mistakenly flagged some normal accounts as spam accounts, causing a small number of users temporary access loss to their accounts. Nikita Bier also pointed out that as AI technology continues to advance, spam has become one of the biggest risks facing the platform. X is continuously increasing investment in and upgrading anti-spam tools. While the system maintains high accuracy in most cases, this vulnerability caused a small number of users brief loss of access.
