New Developments in the SEC vs. Ripple Labs Case: Judge Torres Denies Both Parties' Request for Summary Judgment
According to Gate.io News bot, there is a latest development in the SEC vs Ripple Labs lawsuit. Judge Analisa Torres rejected the parties' requests for an indicative ruling.
Judge Torres pointed out that the request made by both parties under the name of "settlement approval" was essentially an attempt to revoke certain injunction and penalty provisions in the final judgment. The court determined that the request should be subject to Federal Civil Procedure Rule 60, rather than Rule 62.1. As the request failed to meet the relevant requirements of Rule 60, the court ultimately made a dismissal decision.
