Crypto Assets Hedging Fund Asymmetric founder and CEO Joe McCann said that a 25 basis point rate cut may not be favorable for the cryptocurrency market. Mackenzie believes, "If the Fed cuts interest rates by 25 basis points, the stock market will be severely hit. Crypto Assets may fall accordingly. The reason is, assuming a 50 basis point rate cut, the stock market will be at historic highs." But he added that if the Fed cuts rates by 50 basis points, it could have a positive impact on risk assets such as Crypto Assets.
