Hackathon Overview

The Stellar Build Better Hackathon has successfully concluded, with a total of 220 registered developers participating and 84 projects approved. The event aimed to promote practical applications through Stellar’s smart contracts, emphasizing community collaboration and technological advancement. Participants competed in three categories, with a total prize pool of 25,000 USDC, including: Better Finance, Better Creativity, and Better Access.

Developers explored areas such as DeFi accessibility tools, cross-border payment solutions, creator economy platforms, and identity solutions. The hackathon provided an opportunity for interaction with global developers and exposure to well-known crypto companies. In addition, there were technical seminars and live demo sessions to support the participants.

In terms of achievements, the first prize of 12,000 USDC was awarded to a project that enhances financial accessibility. The second and third prizes received rewards of 8,000 and 5,000 USDC respectively, in recognition of their innovations in creative tools and accessibility solutions. Through these awards, the event highlighted Stellar’s role in promoting practical innovation and expanding the application of smart contracts within its ecosystem.

PayZoll_Stellar - PayZoll integrates AI and blockchain within the Stellar ecosystem to provide secure, automated, and transparent global payroll services, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of payroll management.

Second place

StellarFinance - The platform facilitates connections between users and financial advisors on the Stellar blockchain, providing secure and transparent financial services focused on integrity and user engagement.

Third Place

Soroban to MCP Server in seconds + Policy Signers Playground - This solution converts Stellar Soroban smart contracts to the MCP server, enabling natural language interaction, supporting AI agents execution, and enhancing smart contract functionalities.
