The publicly listed mining company in America, CleanSpark, announced that some Bitcoin mining machines they imported from April to June 2024 were identified by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as being of Chinese origin and could face a slashing tariff risk of up to 185 million USD. CleanSpark denied the related allegations, stating that their procurement contracts and supplier documents all indicate that the miners were not produced in China and that they will resolutely counter the accusations. Previously, the mining company IREN also encountered a similar controversy, with the amount involved reaching up to 100 million USD. (The Miner Mag)
