Warren Buffett has long warned that health care, not taxes, is the biggest threat to U.S. competitiveness.



At Berkshire Hathaway's 2017 shareholder meeting, he called medical costs "the tapeworm of American economic competitiveness." He noted that corporate taxes as a share of GDP had decreased.
