[Golden Finance] According to reports, South Korean actress Hwang Jung-eum (transliteration), who was sued for allegedly embezzling 4.2 billion won (approximately 3.07 million USD) and investing in Virtual Money, was sentenced to 3 years in prison at the Jeju District Court.

Previously, Hwang Jung-eum embezzled 4.34 billion won from the Xunmin Jeong-eum Entertainment Company around 2022, and invested 4.2 billion won in Virtual Money, suspected of violating the "Act on the Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Economic Crimes" (embezzlement).
