If I could travel with Gate Travel, Iceland to see the Northern Lights would definitely be my top choice. Iceland has always been a travel destination I've wanted to visit, but unfortunately, the costs are very high. It may not be the kind of easy-going vacation where you sunbathe on the beach without a care in the world. Instead, it would be a journey full of magic and surprises. It won't be easy, as you'll need to brave the cold in Iceland and possibly wait in the wilderness at midnight. But it will also be relaxing, as the stunning natural scenery can cleanse your soul and help you forget all your worries.

Although I haven't started this journey myself yet, I sometimes imagine scenes of myself going to Iceland.
I put my hands into the thick down jacket pockets and looked up at the pitch-black night sky of Iceland. The north wind was biting, making me shiver. This was my trip to Iceland exchanged with Gate Travel, but the aurora index had been low for two consecutive nights, and I began to doubt whether I could achieve my wish.
"Look, that's the first one!" The guide excitedly pointed at the horizon.
I followed the direction he pointed and saw, at first, just a faint, milky white ribbon of light, like a ghostly river. It appeared silently and then began to dance.
Then, a miracle happened. The band of light seemed to be infused with life, beginning to flicker and change colors. Green, purple, pink, intertwining into a gigantic curtain, rolling, jumping, and spiraling in the night sky. At times, it resembled huge waves crashing against the stars, and at other times, it gently caressed the mountains like flowing silk.
I forgot the cold, forgot the time, and was left only with the shock and tranquility within. In that moment, I finally understood that the "ease" of this journey lies not in the comfort of the body, but in the relaxation of the soul. It is not an escape, but a return.
As the aurora gradually fades, leaving only a sky full of stars, I gently exhale. I know that this night will forever be etched in my heart. This journey is perfect.
