The supply of Ethereum is stable, the network maintains performance with low fees.
Data from Blockchair shows that the circulating supply of Ethereum has remained nearly flat since it transitioned to a proof-of-stake mechanism in 2022, currently at about 121.01 million ETH, with a net change of +17.878 ETH over the past 7 days.
In the past week, approximately 18,652 ETH were issued while 775 ETH were burned, corresponding to an annual growth rate of about +0.77%, which means nearly 973,000 ETH issued per year compared to a burn rate of about 40,000 ETH per year at the current activity level.
The total amount of ETH burned since EIP-1559 has surpassed 4.61 million ETH, led by ETH transactions, OpenSea, Uniswap, USDT, and Uniswap Universal Router.
Key network metrics:
The MEV builders created 92.9% of the blocks in the last 24 hours, demonstrating the dominance of the Proposer-Builder Separation model (PBS).
The top 10 wallets hold 61% of the ETH supply, reflecting a large concentration in exchange wallets, staking, and protocol contracts.
Long-term forecasts from Ultrasound Money indicate a balanced supply around 110.3 million ETH, with approximately 35.7 million ETH staked and a balanced issuance – burn rate at 994,000 ETH/year.
Although recently the supply has been trending upwards, Ethereum still maintains stable performance, low fees, and the ability to handle large transaction volumes, with staking and MEV continuing to shape the ecosystem.
