According to monitoring, there were approximately 16 major Crypto Assets security incidents in August 2025, with total losses reaching 163 million dollars, an increase of 15% from July's 142 million dollars.

The five largest security incidents are as follows:

1. A certain Bitcoin holder lost 91.4 million dollars;
2. A certain cryptocurrency exchange platform in Turkey suffered a loss of 54 million USD.
3. ODIN•FUN project loss of 7 million USD;
4. BetterBank.io lost 5 million dollars;
5. CrediX Finance lost 4.5 million USD.

It is worth noting that the aforementioned Turkish cryptocurrency exchange platform has suffered two significant security incidents in the past year, with a total loss exceeding 100 million dollars following a loss of 54 million dollars in June 2024.
