Encryption venture capital Archetype has raised $100 million for its third fund.

On September 23, according to Fortune, the crypto venture capital firm Archetype raised $100 million for its third fund. It is reported that Archetype raised its first fund of $55 million in 2021, and then raised a second fund of $155 million during the peak of the crypto bull run in 2022. Although Archetype's third fund is smaller at $100 million, Egan stated that this is intentional, with the choice of suitable limited partners (LPs), adding only one new LP. Archetype's investors include pensions, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, and other institutional investors, such as funds from Accolade Partners and TrueBridge Capital, as well as top venture capital firm Sapphire Ventures. Archetype's next round of investments will include companies that focus more on consumers, such as Remix, an application that combines crypto assets and artificial intelligence, allowing users to create mobile games.
