On October 15, the decentralized social protocol Farcaster stated, "In less than 24 hours, we exceeded the original two-week target and suspended new deposit reward activity registration at 6 AM Beijing time on October 15. If users deposit before 6 AM on October 15, they are still eligible for rewards. We hope to relaunch the new version of the deposit reward activity soon." Previously reported, on October 14, Farcaster launched the deposit reward activity, depositing USDC on Base will provide users with a 10% deposit reward in October, with the applicable rules as follows: Deposits on Base must be made in USDC; rewards are paid weekly (1% per week for 10 weeks); USDC transferred or exchanged within a week will not generate earnings; the USDC balance must be higher than today's balance to start earning. Each account's USDC reward cap is $500.
