From Millionaire YouTuber to Prisoner: The Historic Fall of BitBoy Crypto
Ben Armstrong, better known as BitBoy Crypto, was just arrested on March 21, 2025, in Florida. The charges: sending threatening emails to Judge Kimberly Childs in Georgia. Yes, you read that right— from “crypto lord” to serious legal troubles.
How did we get here?
The meteor (2018-2021): Armstrong launched his YouTube channel BitBoy Crypto and became a must-reference. Viral videos, market analysis, educational books about Bitcoin… everything worked for him. Thousands of followers hanging on every word.
The first cracks: Then the rumors started. He promoted “paid” projects without transparency. The DISTX token (2020) was the breaking point—many investors were severely burned. His reputation began to take on water.
The expulsion: In August 2023, he was removed from his own company, HIT Network. His baby was rebranded as Discover Crypto without him. Humiliating, honestly.
The legal outcome: Now this. Emails to a judge. We don't know the full details, but it sounds serious.

This case is the warning of the space. Influence ≠ credibility. A channel with millions of subscribers can disappear in weeks if you lose trust. And if there are also legal accusations… we are no longer talking about image, we are talking about real consequences.
