Bitcoin or Ethereum? The institutions have already chosen.

Abstract generation in progress

Institutional wallets have just revealed their preference: $179.36M flowed into Bitcoin ETF while Ethereum lost $39.63M in the last session.

This divergence is not coincidence. With inflation resurging globally, Bitcoin consolidates its role as “digital gold,” while Ethereum—although it rose 20% last month—suffers an institutional profit-taking.

Why is Ethereum falling behind?

The network is facing a perfect storm:

  • Slow network updates
  • DeFi increasingly saturated
  • Uncertain regulation
  • Even PoS validators show distrust (fewer outputs but more doubts)

The numbers that matter:

  • Bitcoin needs to break $114,500 to confirm bullish momentum
  • Ethereum is in fragile territory: if it falls below $4,270, more pressure is expected.

The conclusion is clear: Bitcoin is winning the battle for smart money. Ethereum will have to innovate strongly to regain institutional interest. For now, digital gold remains the favorite refuge.
