Northern Japan just got slammed. A brutal 7.5-magnitude earthquake tore through Aomori Prefecture late Monday night. Walls came down. Highways split open. Then the tsunami hit—waves nearly 3 feet high forced thousands to evacuate coastal zones. The quake struck hard and fast, leaving destruction in its wake as residents scrambled for higher ground.

The earthquake in Japan is way too intense... A magnitude 7.5 directly collapsed houses, oh my god.

ngl japan's infrastructure resilience probably priced in those basis points way better than most. but fr, 7.5 magnitude? that's not a flash crash, that's actual liquidation. highways splitting open = real slippage happening on the ground.
