If you see suspicious accounts claiming to be well-known traders or project teams on social platforms or trading communities, don’t rush to interact. The most straightforward way is to look for verification badges — legitimate accounts will have an official blue V mark, which is the basic method for authenticating authenticity.

Additionally, it’s important to note that legitimate accounts generally won’t proactively harass you through private messages, nor will they ask to add you on WhatsApp or Telegram for private communication. These tactics are usually a prelude to phishing. If you encounter such situations, it’s safe to assume they are fake.

It’s recommended that when engaging in community discussions, prioritize interacting with verified accounts, and it’s best to restrict comment participation to verified users only. This helps maintain discussion quality and effectively reduces the risk of being deceived. Stay vigilant and don’t trust any promises from unfamiliar accounts.

It's the same old story, everyone who has been scammed knows. Even blue V accounts can be faked; the key is to stay vigilant. If someone private messages you asking to add third-party software, nine out of ten times they just want to scam you. I've seen too many cases. Interacting with verified users is indeed more reliable, saving the trouble of distinguishing real from fake, and you can join without worries. It sounds good, but I still don't trust it. These scammers have so many tricks, it's hard to defend against all of them. Real influencers wouldn't bother private messaging you at all, that's the most important point. I just want to know when they will clear out all these fake accounts; it's so disgusting.
