I started paying attention to the Opinion prediction market project at the end of the previous year, when this track was almost nobody's discussion. To be honest, even Polymarket back then was far from the current level of popularity and attention.

Looking back now, the prediction market track has undergone many changes from being obscure to becoming a market focus. Early investors' vision truly needed to be sharp—being able to recognize the potential when this track was still very cold shows real foresight.

Over the past two years, watching the prediction market ecosystem gradually heat up, evolving from a niche activity with little attention to a hot topic in the Web3 community, it feels like the overall market's awareness and participation have increased. Projects and investors who laid out early will definitely see very different feedback now.

The person who lost money smiling and coming back, I, who didn't get on the Opinion bandwagon back then, could only watch others enjoy the gains. If I had known that the prediction market would become so popular, I wouldn't have bet on those crappy projects in the U圈. It's really incredible. When niche tracks heat up, it's all big shots bragging. We latecomers can only pick up the pieces. The sharp vision from two years ago now looks like just plain talk. I hadn't even heard of it back then, and I had the nerve to boast about foresight.

Did you have an opinion back in the day? There really was no one playing at that time, but now it looks like a divine prediction. Early entrants really made a killing; predicting the market's shift from obscurity to popularity has only taken these two years. Polymarket is now so popular, and the early adopters deserve a lot of credit. But to be fair, this kind of track reversal happens pretty quickly, and missing out is truly missing out.

ngl, being in the accumulation phase during those dead months hits different now. like mile 5 of an ultra when everyone's still sleeping—early stackers just knew the adoption curve would follow eventually. ecosystem momentum always takes time to build.
