A method to identify turning points
Today I was discussing with a fan, and we had a heated debate about why we can make moves today.
Why today?
Why not yesterday, not the day before yesterday?
Why are top funds all here today! And making bigger moves!
He said it’s freezing!
I said, “Frozen, thawed, frozen again—haven’t we seen this before?”
Anyway, he mentioned several reasons.
I wasn’t entirely satisfied with any of them!
So I shared my perspective, which may not be entirely correct but should be somewhat helpful!
It mainly boils down to two points:
First, the top-performing sectors today have all advanced, and yesterday’s Baichuan Shares hit the limit up after a rebound!
This means, considering the strongest and weakest individual sectors,
The strongest yesterday continued to be strong today!
The weakest yesterday is not weak today; instead, it’s turning strong after a rebound!
Second, the power sector, which was the strongest yesterday, mostly continued its strength today.
The gold sector, which was the weakest yesterday, showed a different performance today. If we take Zijin Mining as a benchmark, it’s showing signs of stopping its decline and turning strong!
I believe these are the two most important points.
Including the key to whether a sector can sustain its momentum beyond just a few days,
The crucial question for tomorrow is:
Can the sector that hit the first limit up today continue with a one-word or consecutive limit tomorrow?
And for the last sector to hit the limit today, can it open higher tomorrow?
The core point is:
Can the strong sectors today remain strong tomorrow?
And the weak sectors today, can they stop being weak? Turning from weak to strong isn’t the most critical; not being weak is already a kind of indirect strength.
Expecting the last-place performer to get into Tsinghua?
Even if the second-to-last improves, it’s worth celebrating!
Alright, that’s my thinking on the turning points!
For the shift from strength to weakness, think in reverse. I hope this article can inspire you. I love you as I love myself. Keep going!
