Abstract generation in progress

On February 2, 2026, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the initiation of the first sunset review of anti-dumping duties on imported Difluoromethane (R-32) from China. At the same time, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) initiated the first sunset review injury investigation of the involved products to examine whether the removal of current anti-dumping measures would result in the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the U.S. domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable period. Interested parties should register their responses with the U.S. Department of Commerce within 10 days of this announcement. Interested parties should submit their comments to the U.S. International Trade Commission by March 4, 2026, and by April 13, 2026, at the latest, submit their views on the sufficiency of the responses to the ITC.
