Just now, when I was reading Sun Yuchen's book, this passage really moved me: “I must seize everything this city gives me, and it has to be early, not late. Going to the US a year earlier is more important than going to Harvard a year later.” I can roughly understand what he's saying and share a similar feeling. Because I realized early on that in my small hometown, peers who develop well generally come from families with influence; their family members just need to give a heads-up for them to get a job at a state-owned enterprise.
