: On February 5th, Xiaopeng Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng posted that Xiaopeng Motors is about to launch its first flagship large six-seat SUV, named Xiaopeng GX, with the development code G01. He Xiaopeng explained that the “1” in this name represents Xiaopeng Motors starting from the “first principles,” using complete AI thinking to redesign a full-size family flagship SUV.

At the recent Xiaopeng Motors 2026 Annual Conference, He Xiaopeng systematically discussed the company’s next phase of technological development and growth directions around cars, AI (artificial intelligence), autonomous driving, and humanoid robots. Xiaopeng Motors has designated 2026 as the “key year for the commercialization of physical AI.” He Xiaopeng believes that the automotive industry is entering a new stage of deep integration with AI: intelligent cockpits and intelligent driving will achieve technological convergence, forming a super intelligent entity.
According to Shanghai Securities News, Xiaopeng Motors will soon merge two primary intelligent departments—the Autonomous Driving Center and the Intelligent Cockpit Center—into a General Intelligence Center. The General Intelligence Center is a new AI business organization focused on cars and robots, which will establish secondary organizations around core models, infrastructure (Infra), platform-based delivery, product, and project quality. After this restructuring of the two major departments, Xiaopeng Motors will focus more on core models to empower the three main business sectors: autonomous driving, embodied intelligence, and intelligent cockpits.
Regarding vehicle lineup, He Xiaopeng introduced that Xiaopeng Motors will launch seven models with super extended-range configurations in 2026, including three super extended-range products and four all-new models.
