On the daily chart, if it's going to drop, of course you need to set a stop loss on futures. A stop loss is what keeps you alive in this market. Even if you get stopped out, you won't hold a losing position, and holding positions ultimately leads to liquidation. Whenever your stop loss gets hit, take a two-day break and don't trade. Form this habit—staying in the game is more important than anything else.
