Conagra Brands plans to invest $220 million to expand its Fayetteville, Arkansas plant, specifically to increase chicken processing capacity. This investment follows the success of its Banquet Mega Chicken Filets and other fried chicken innovations, which aim to capture market share from quick-service restaurants and cater to consumer demand for satiation and protein. Construction is set to begin later this year at the facility, which currently produces 15 million cases of ready-to-eat meals annually for various Conagra brands.
