SLOVNAFT implements a logistics diversification strategy following the shutdown of the Druzhba pipeline, contracting seven tanker ships to transport crude oil from Saudi Arabia, Norway, Kazakhstan, and Libya to port facilities in Croatia. The Slovak refinery has adopted this measure to compensate for the temporary interruption in traditional supply and strengthen its operational capacity. According to Jin10 data, this initiative reflects a corporate effort to ensure production continuity through the expansion of its supply channels. The decision underscores how the refinery has reacted with agility, optimizing its transport routes and diversifying the origin of its raw materials to maintain operations without significant interruptions during the closure of the strategic pipeline.
