A-share closing review: Shanghai Composite Index down 0.81%, Shenzhen Component Index down 0.65%, small metals, power grid equipment, computing power rental and other concepts weakened

On March 13, the three major A-share indices all declined. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.81%, the Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.65%, and the ChiNext Index declined 0.22%; the Beijing 50 Index decreased 1.03%. The combined trading volume of the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was approximately 24,003.17 billion yuan, down about 415.81 billion yuan from the previous trading day. A total of 1,502 stocks rose, while 3,828 stocks fell, including 68 stocks hitting the daily limit up and 22 stocks hitting the daily limit down.

In terms of sectors, the leading gainers included fertilizers, beer, coal chemical industry, banking, household appliances, and construction engineering; the top decliners included minor metals, power grid equipment, computing power leasing, diversified finance, electricity, cultivated diamonds, liquid-cooled servers, and military equipment.
