On the evening of March 18, JD Cloud issued a statement promising that all core products will not see price increases, and will implement greater discounts on multiple products to help various entities confidently adopt cloud services and use cloud efficiently.
JD Cloud stated that, relying on JD Group’s deep expertise in technology, supply chain, and operations management, and through continuous optimization of the underlying architecture, deepening technological cost reductions, and improving resource utilization efficiency, it has built a sustainable low-cost operation system. It is confident and capable of maintaining an inclusive low-price strategy in the long term.
JD Cloud makes the following commitments:
1. Stable prices, no follow-the-trend increases: Clearly refuses to follow the trend of price hikes. The prices of all core products, including cloud servers, AI computing power, storage, and networking, will remain stable. No new price increase items or fee standard increases will be added, ensuring customers’ current business costs are controllable.
2. Price reductions on multiple products, continuous benefits: While maintaining stable performance and service quality, JD Cloud will implement larger discounts on products such as databases and middleware, with an average reduction of over 16% and up to 40%, offering better cost-performance to customers.
3. Service quality guaranteed, no compromises: Upholding service quality standards, with 24/7 technical support, rapid fault response, free migration assistance, and other services continuously upgraded to ensure customers enjoy secure, stable, and efficient cloud services at low cost.
It is worth noting that today, Alibaba Cloud and Baidu Smart Cloud announced price increases.
Alibaba Cloud stated that due to the explosion of global AI demand and rising supply chain costs, the procurement costs of industry core hardware have increased significantly. After careful assessment, Alibaba Cloud decided to adjust the prices of AI computing power, CPFS (Intelligent Computing Edition), and other services starting April 18, 2026. The computing power cards such as Tongtou Ge Zhen Wu 810E will see a price increase of 5%-34%, and the CPFS (Intelligent Computing Edition) storage product will increase by 30%.
Baidu Smart Cloud stated that, influenced by the rapid development of global artificial intelligence applications, demand for computing power continues to rise. The costs of core hardware and related infrastructure have increased significantly. To ensure long-term stable operation and service quality, some product prices will be structurally optimized. AI computing power-related products will be increased by approximately 5%-30%; parallel file storage and other services will be increased by about 30%.
