Midday Review: ChiNext Index Up 0.89%, Storage Chip and CPO Concepts Strengthen

People’s Financial News, March 18 — Today, the three major indices opened higher across the board. The Shanghai Composite Index fluctuated and weakened in the morning, while the ChiNext Index showed a stronger trend. At midday close, the Shanghai Composite fell 0.40%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.05%, and the ChiNext Index increased 0.89%.

In the market, the storage chip concept was strong, with Tongyou Technology, Chengbang Shares, and China Electric Port hitting the daily limit. The CPO concept was active, with Ruisidakang and Guanghe Technology hitting the limit. The computing power leasing concept rose, with Meiliyun, Jialitu, and Aoruid hitting the limit. The commercial aerospace concept surged, with Shunhao Shares hitting the limit.

Leading sectors included communication equipment, semiconductors, components, IT equipment, and aviation; while sectors such as petroleum, hotels and catering, construction machinery, chemical fibers, and tourism declined the most.
