Global Largest Electronic-Grade Glass Fiber Production Line Ignites with Annual Capacity of 390 Million Meters

People’s Financial News, March 19 — On March 18, the world’s largest electronic-grade glass fiber production line—Huaian Zero-Carbon Glass Fiber Manufacturing Base’s 390 million meters electronic fabric production line—successfully ignited, marking a key step in the construction of the world’s first zero-carbon intelligent manufacturing base for glass fiber industry. This electronic-grade glass fiber production line has an annual capacity of 390 million meters, accounting for 9% of the global market. The project integrates advanced technologies such as domestically developed high-performance glass formulas, ultra-large energy-saving tank kilns, and pure oxygen combustion, with fully independent intellectual property rights. The produced electronic-grade glass fibers and electronic fabrics can be used in new energy vehicles, photovoltaic industries, low-altitude economy, and other fields, further enhancing China’s autonomous supply capacity for high-end electronic basic materials and providing foundational raw materials for the development of AI servers, high-performance chips, high-frequency communications, and other electronic information industries.
