Ho Chi Minh City, March 18, 2026 /PR Newswire/ – Recently, Pylon Technologies signed a cooperation agreement with DAT Group, a leading industrial automation and clean energy service provider in Vietnam. Under the agreement, Pylon Technologies will deliver a 150 MWh energy storage system to DAT Group. The two parties will collaborate deeply in technology, market, and service aspects to jointly promote the energy transition in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. This partnership marks an important step for Pylon Technologies in expanding its presence in Southeast Asia and demonstrates the company’s commitment to regional energy transformation and green, low-carbon development.

In recent years, Vietnam’s clean energy transition has accelerated continuously, positioning the country as a leading growth market for energy storage in Southeast Asia, with significant industry attention. According to Vietnam’s Power Development Plan 8 (PDP8), the 2030 target for battery energy storage capacity has been significantly increased to 10-16.3 GW, a leap from the original 300 MW goal set for 2023. Coupled with the launch of a two-part electricity pricing mechanism in January 2026, the commercial profitability model for energy storage projects has become clearer, making Vietnam one of the most attractive energy storage markets in Southeast Asia.

Pylon Technologies has been deeply engaged in the Southeast Asian market for years, building a stable ecosystem of partners and accumulating extensive project experience. Additionally, Pylon Technologies has established regional service centers in Vietnam and the Philippines to enable localized rapid response and efficient operations. Leveraging its vertically integrated R&D capabilities from cells to systems, Pylon Technologies can provide customized solutions tailored to regional market characteristics, meeting the diverse needs of residential, commercial, industrial, and power generation-side energy storage in Southeast Asia.

DAT Group is a well-known local energy company in Vietnam with deep industry expertise and significant regional influence. This cooperation with DAT Group will further strengthen Pylon Technologies’ local deployment and service capabilities. Moving forward, Pylon Technologies will continue to integrate global experience with local resources to help build a more resilient, greener, and sustainable energy system in Southeast Asia.
