Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, March 15 — The spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced on the 15th that Iran has destroyed four U.S. missile defense systems (the “THAAD”) in the upper atmosphere, and has not yet used many of its missile stocks.

According to the report by Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, Iran has so far hit 18 ships and oil tankers related to the U.S. and Israel, and has included 200 key strategic targets in its strike plans, costing the U.S. and Israel $1.5 billion daily in warfare expenses.

The spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran stated that approximately 700 missiles and 3,600 drones have been launched against U.S. and Israeli targets. Most of the missiles launched are about 10 years old, and many upgraded missiles developed after Israel’s “12-Day War” against Iran in June last year have not yet been used.

Tasnim News Agency reported that the spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Iran’s Hatem Army announced that facilities providing logistics and services for the U.S. Navy’s USS Ford aircraft carrier will be targeted.

The USS Ford carrier strike group is currently participating in large-scale military operations against Iran in the Red Sea. (End)
