Tencent's game revenue reached 241.6 billion yuan in 2025, with a year-over-year increase of 22%
Sina Tech News, March 18th — Tencent Holdings released its Q4 2025 and full-year financial reports. The report specifically mentions that gaming AI is effectively accelerating content creation, improving user experience, and enhancing marketing efficiency. Tencent’s gaming revenue for 2025 reached 241.6 billion yuan, a 22% increase year-over-year. Among them, domestic market gaming revenue grew by 18% year-over-year to 164.2 billion yuan. International market gaming revenue exceeded $10 billion, a 33% increase year-over-year, setting a new record.
Specifically, in Q4, domestic market gaming revenue increased by 15% year-over-year to 38.2 billion yuan, mainly driven by revenue growth from “Delta Force” and “Valorant” (PC and mobile versions), as well as incremental revenue from “Mingchao”; international market gaming revenue grew by 32% year-over-year to 21.1 billion yuan, mainly from revenue growth of games under Supercell and “PUBG Mobile,” as well as overseas incremental revenue from “Mingchao.”
The financial report also highlights that gaming AI is effectively accelerating content creation, improving user experience, and boosting marketing efficiency. Currently, several games such as “Honor of Kings,” “Peacekeeper Elite,” and “Delta Force” have integrated AI to enrich player experience and improve game quality.
Among them, “Peacekeeper Elite” has announced that the total number of users experiencing all AI NPC gameplay in the game has reached 110 million, with a peak daily active user count of 17.7 million. The number of message interactions per game session has reached 70 rounds, and microphone activation rate is nearly 75%, further increasing player engagement.
