Zhongguancun Future Industry Ecosystem Accelerating Formation
News Report (Reporter Sun Qiru): Yesterday, during the pre-event collective interview at the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference, it was learned that in 2025, Zhongguancun enterprises are expected to achieve over 10 trillion yuan in revenue, creating a new quality-driven production power leading zone. Zhongguancun has formed a new generation of information technology industry cluster worth over one trillion yuan, along with nine other industry clusters each exceeding 100 billion yuan, such as pharmaceuticals and healthcare, and integrated circuits. The future industrial ecosystem is accelerating its formation.
A simple sheet of paper is precisely folded, flattened, and shaped by a robot’s “hand” — this is just one of many skills that robots are gradually mastering. Supported by the “general brain” and “operational intelligence,” robots are transforming from clumsy to dexterous. “The core breakthrough needed for physical AI in the future is operational intelligence,” said Zhang Yufeng, founder and CEO of Wujie Power.
Wujie Power is a new “neighbor” that recently moved into Zhongguancun (Haidian) Embodied Intelligence Innovation Industrial Park before the Spring Festival. In less than a year since its establishment, the company has achieved numerous successes in capital and market development. “Our robots are now on the production lines of international clients, officially entering a new stage of mass production and delivery,” said Zhang Yufeng. Additionally, the company has secured two rounds of funding from top institutions such as Sequoia China, Linear Capital, and Hillhouse Capital, with a third round nearing completion, bringing total funding to 800 million yuan.
As the nation’s first industrial park named after “embodied intelligence,” the Zhongguancun (Haidian) Embodied Intelligence Innovation Industrial Park has attracted 39 high-tech companies, including 14 in embodied intelligence, 7 in artificial intelligence, forming a distinctive industry cluster centered on embodied intelligence. The park leads with embodied intelligence as the core, while also developing data elements and life sciences, aiming to build a “forward-looking, ecosystem-driven” high-level industrial ecology.
In the field of embodied intelligence, the park has gathered industry leaders such as Yikong Zhijia, Meixin Sheng, Rosenbot, Wujie Power, Lens Technology, Noyteng Robotics, and Jiangsu Cell Wall, covering the entire “data-brain-small brain-ontology” industry chain. The park also introduces leading AI companies like Kunlun Core to support the underlying algorithms and computing power for embodied intelligence. This “upstream-downstream” ecosystem pattern promotes technological collaboration and innovation among enterprises, with cluster effects becoming increasingly evident.
In the data element sector, the park has established the Beijing High-end Data Annotation Demonstration Base and the Beijing Medical Trusted Data Space, accelerating the aggregation, governance, and compliant circulation of data resources.
In life sciences, the park has attracted industry giants like BGI Beijing Innovation Center, forming an integrated “industry-university-research” development model; it is also fast-tracking the landing of Roche Pharmaceuticals, further expanding a diversified innovation ecosystem.
To accelerate the growth of innovative companies like Wujie Power, the park has invested heavily in building an industrial ecological platform. Key facilities include the Embodied Intelligence New Quality Production Power Accelerator, Embodied Intelligence Cross-ontology Training Ground (Open Testing Platform for Real-world Embodied Intelligence Scenarios), Real Scene Experience and Display Platform, Integrated Robot 9S Center, Pilot and Small-scale Testing Platforms, covering the entire process from innovation incubation to industrialization.
The park has established the world’s first embodied intelligence robot 4S store and the first nationwide embodied intelligence innovation industrial park. It also released China’s first brain-computer interface innovation development action plan. Beijing is proactively developing future industry sectors such as embodied intelligence, brain-computer interfaces, and commercial spaceflight, leading to a faster formation of the future industrial ecosystem.
Officials from the Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Administrative Committee stated that, looking toward the “14th Five-Year Plan,” Zhongguancun aims to initially build a world-leading science and technology park by early 2027 and fully establish it by 2035. The plan is to deepen the integration of technological and industrial innovation, continuously enhance Zhongguancun’s “golden signboard,” and contribute more to achieving high-level technological self-reliance and building a strong technological nation.
