Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 19 — According to CBS, the U.S. Senate on Wednesday rejected a war powers resolution introduced by New Jersey Democratic Senator Cory Booker. The vote was 53 to 47, marking the third time this effort to limit Trump’s military actions against Iran has been thwarted.

The Senate previously rejected a similar Iran war powers resolution proposed by Virginia Democratic Senator Tim Kaine on March 4. This was the second rejection within less than a year to restrict Trump’s military actions against Iran, the first being after the U.S. airstrike on Iran’s nuclear facilities in June of last year.
