Late last year, Marquis revealed that it suffered a ransomware attack in August that compromised the data of customers from dozens of its bank and credit union clients.

Now, the fintech has confirmed how many people it is notifying to warn that hackers have stolen data that includes names, dates of birth, postal addresses and Social Security numbers, as well bank account, debit, and credit card numbers.

An investigation into the breach concluded that a third party accessed Marquis’s network through its SonicWall firewall. Last month, Marquis sued SonicWall over the incident.

Texas-based Marquis provides digital and physical marketing products as well as compliance software and services to more than 700 banks and credit unions, according to its website.
