People’s Financial News, March 25 — According to the official WeChat account of Zhipu (02513.HK) on March 25, Mercedes-Benz China announced the latest achievements in its domestic industry-university-research collaboration: the multimodal large model technology developed in partnership with Tsinghua University and Zhipu will be implemented in the new generation S-Class sedan. As a result, Mercedes-Benz becomes the first automotive brand to apply multimodal large models in the rear-seat entertainment system. Based on this multimodal large model technology, the high-end rear-seat entertainment system of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class will deeply integrate natural language processing with visual, audio, and other multimodal understanding and generation capabilities. Combined with in-car cameras and sensing hardware, it aims to create a smarter, more humanized immersive interactive experience for passengers.
