Xinjiang Coal Mines Operating Normally with Stable Production and Sales Output
On February 27, coal mining operations in Xinjiang are normal, with overall stable production and sales, regular shipments, and no significant changes. Recently, railway freight rates in Xinjiang have slightly decreased, which may have some impact on the external transportation of Xinjiang coal. Compared to coal prices in Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia, the transportation advantage for Xinjiang coal has increased in some provinces. After the Spring Festival, temperatures are expected to gradually rise, with weaker cold air influence. The civil electricity load of southern thermal power units may decrease slightly. New energy generation such as wind and photovoltaic power is expected to ramp up in spring. Additionally, the number of available days for power plants is higher than the same period last year, resulting in weaker support for thermal coal prices. Xinjiang coal prices are still under pressure. (My Steel Network)
