March 25, 2026, sentiment warms up!
March 25, 2026, Wednesday.
Yesterday’s Huaguang Huaneng gave a slight premium in the bidding. It didn’t strengthen after the open, so I took profits and exited, pocketing some small gains.
The acquisition news of Guanghetong triggered a gap-up, but it opened weak and couldn’t even outperform the Hong Kong stocks. After the open, a bunch of trapped positions were sold off, turning it into a big green bar. I feel this acquisition puts quite a bit of pressure on the stock. The other company is quite high-quality, so if it goes through, it would definitely be a positive. However, most of the market today thinks it won’t succeed based on the current trend.
Today’s strong opening sectors were related to AI hardware: Seagate Technology, Huanxu Electronics, Tefa Information, Honghe Technology, Yongding Shares, Tongyu Communications, Hengtong Optoelectronics, FiberHome Communications, Changjiang Communications, and Kairui Technology. Tefa Information immediately hit the limit-up, while the others fluctuated all day without hitting the limit. I was quite optimistic about FiberHome Communications, but after the power sector started to rise, it weakened directly. Later, as the power sector strengthened again, I picked Min Dong Power, Wanneng Power, Datang Power, Jiantou Energy, Rongfa Nuclear Power, Shenzhen Energy, and some computing power leasing stocks, but they only showed some selectivity and no real interest. I prefer power stocks. The market was quiet in the morning, with funds switching back and forth between power and hardware.
In the afternoon, power stocks showed some divergence. I saw JinKong Power break the limit, added it to my watchlist, and considered re-approaching the limit. After checking the K-line, I removed it, feeling the overnight premium wasn’t great. Later, I found nothing worth buying, and all the stocks in my watchlist remained stagnant. I looked at the stocks that broke the limit today to see if there were any suitable ones. I noticed Guangxun Technology, added it to my watchlist, and waited to see if it would rebound. After waiting a long time, there was no movement, which was a bit tiring. I decided to leave it as is for today.
At 2:30 PM, I came to write a review. While writing the third paragraph, I checked my watchlist and saw Changjiang Communications was about to hit the limit with nine points. I wasn’t planning to open a position, but I quickly placed an order. However, I placed the order incorrectly, so I just gave up—originally, I was planning to stay flat anyway.
Today’s market volume increased, and sentiment was quite good. The morning’s mindset was to open positions quickly, but I couldn’t get them executed. FiberHome Communications surged strongly in the morning, but the volume couldn’t keep up. I was thinking if it hit the limit, I’d lower my standards since the market sentiment was decent today. But after waiting all day, I only saw a pullback.
I’ll see what happens tomorrow!
