CITIC Securities: The banking sector may be more favored by funds with lower drawdown requirements
Rui Finance Yan Minghui Recently, CITIC Securities research report stated that last week the banking index increased by 0.3%, ranking second among the 30 first-tier industry indices in Wind CITIC, implying relative value amid external market uncertainties.
In the coming month, the bank earnings season will begin. For annual reports, many banks have already issued pre-increases, with small expected differences; for Q1 performance, it is expected that bank asset deployment will remain stable, net interest margins will decline as expected, and credit risk remains relatively stable. The sector is likely to continue the performance trend since last year.
Due to decreased market risk appetite and relatively stable liquidity patterns, the banking sector may be more favored by funds with low drawdown requirements, and absolute returns are expected to continue.
