Mars Finance News: On March 25, Pump.fun tightened the fee settings for token creators. Each token deployer is now only allowed to change the fee recipient wallet once after launch, and this configuration will be permanently locked afterward. This update aims to prevent creators from arbitrarily changing the fee recipient after a token becomes popular, thereby manipulating revenue distribution. This adjustment is a continuation of Pump.fun’s ongoing optimization of the creator fee model this year. In January, they admitted that the original model overly favored token deployers rather than traders, and subsequently introduced measures such as multi-wallet distribution and post-launch control; in February, they launched “Cashback Coins,” requiring creators to decide at deployment whether the fees go to themselves or are returned to traders, and locking the overall model.
