Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission issues the “Guangdong Province Accelerating Application Scenario Innovation Work Plan,” which proposes the construction of a number of application scenario innovation pilot zones. Focusing on fields with good foundational resources, large potential for open application scenarios, and significant promotion value—such as low-altitude economy, marine economy, intelligent manufacturing, smart agriculture, and urban governance—the plan aims to establish a series of innovation pilot zones across the province. These zones will promote centralized deployment, showcase experiences, and policy support for relevant application scenarios, creating the “preferred platform” for testing and demonstrating new technologies, products, equipment, materials, and processes. Each pilot zone will tailor policies and explore innovative mechanisms based on the needs of application scenarios, focusing on areas such as low-altitude airspace management, marine resource development, new energy storage participation in the electricity market, and data element resource circulation.
