U.S. Military Claims Strike on "Drug Smuggling" Vessel Kills 4 People

On March 25th local time, the U.S. Southern Command announced that on that day, the “Southern Spear” joint task force conducted a live-fire strike against a vessel operated by an entity identified as a “terrorist organization.” The U.S. Southern Command stated that the vessel was traveling along a known “drug trafficking” route in the Caribbean Sea and was engaged in “drug smuggling” activities. During the operation, four male “drug terrorists” were killed, with no casualties on the U.S. side. (CCTV News)
